<li>To assist Sales Engineers in preparing the invoices on the customer as per the terms of the order and get the same approved by the B.U./Sales Manager prior to issuing it to the customer.</li>
<li>To coordinate and liaise with the Service Dept.. in sending duly filled Application start-up forms when necessary.</li>

<p><strong>Job Purpose</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>To independently lead and manage the engineering function and manage a team of multidiscipline engineers for various upstream offshore EPIC/fabrication/multidiscipline construction projects from enquiry stage to project execution stage.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Description</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>To enhance processes and procedures in the current engineering function and create new processes and procedures to cater to large value EPC projects.</li>
<li>To lead a team of multiple discipline design engineers and draughtsman in the proper execution of engineering related activities for various projects.</li>
<li>Involvement in detailed design calculations, preparation of engineering data sheets &amp; specifications, shop fabrication drawings and trouble shooting of design problems resulting from shop and field capabilities.</li>
<li>Pre-award activities such as preliminary design, preparation of tender drawings and material take-offs, cost estimation of material, plant &amp; preliminaries, collaborating with commercial / procurement in preparation of quotation, material sourcing &amp; vendor development.</li>
<li>To front end with clients and handle queries and clarifications for the various engineering disciplines.</li>
<li>To work closely with the project management team and ensure proper execution of the job within the specified scope.</li>
<li>To manage the design issues with the sub contractors and ensure compliance with the client design.</li>
<li>To build and develop a team in order to cater to FEED capabilities for various projects in the future.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Desired Skills and Experience</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Minimum Qualifications: Mechanical Engineering Graduate from a recognized University.</li>
<li>Minimum Experience: Min 10 to 15 Years experience with at least 8 years in the engineering team and or engineering manager role of oil &amp; gas offshore fabrication &amp; installation (jackets &amp; platforms) / construction projects.<br />
Job-Specific Skills:</li>
<li>Must have worked as an Engineering Manager in a large EPC company or on EPC projects.</li>
<li>Must be capable of leading multiple disciplines and effectively interface with all disciplines i- house and with those of the client.</li>
<li>Must have excellent design related skills in terms of interpreting designs and to help the design team produce working or production drawings effectively.</li>
<li>Must have handled offshore fabrication and installation projects. •Middle East experience will be preferred. •Fully conversant with international codes like ASME, PD 500, TEMA, API, BS, NACE, ANSI, AWWA D &#8211; 100.</li>
<li>Hands on experience with design handbooks.</li>
<li>Experience in related designing packages and softwares.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Generic Skills:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Proven estimation experience in large fabrication and upstream offshore EPC projects.</li>

<p>o Merchandising and VM plan in accordance with sales target and category matrix of each region.</p>
<p>o A balanced assortment of merchandise across the categories and ranges consistent with the business strategy, seasonal planning as well as historical data</p>
<p>o To set plans for stock and sales through the WSSI (Weekly Sales, Stock &amp; Intake).</p>
<p>o Responsible for decisions regarding the product stock mix within the business, and for taking the correct action to ensure sales and margin are maximized and overstocks minimized.</p>
<p>o Review and re-forecast sales, stock, layout and margin within the department in order to maximize profit and achieve sales targets.</p>
<p>o To trade stock ensuring 95% availability is achieved.</p>
<p>o Sales plan by department and category by month (consistent with brand plan).</p>

<p>o Constantly review sales and stock against plan and last year to identify areas of risk and opportunity.</p>

<p>o Re-forecast sales for relevant product areas in order to monitor OTB and terminal stock levels</p>
<p>o Constantly monitor allocations and replenishment of relevant product areas.</p>

<p>o Review brand VM plan and produce concise illustrated VM guidelines for product launches, stock clearance, special events merchandising.</p>
<p>o Update floor layouts based on new launches, brand and category performance</p>
<p>o Develop new merchandising techniques adapted to brand, offer, Fixtures, and stay abreast of market trends.</p>
<p>o Occasional store re-merchandising and refreshing.</p>
<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;">• Inventory Management</span></p>
<p>o Ensures an effective replenishment (re-order and allocation) process is set up to facilitate an in-stock situation of basics and key items, by store.</p>
<p>o Monitor and analyze inventory levels throughout the season and recommends appropriate action in order to optimize sales and Stock turn, by means of cancellations, markdowns and re-orders.</p>
<p>o Ensures fast sellers are repeated (where possible)</p>
<p>o Ensures effective allocation to stores based on requirements, store density parameters, fixture fill requirements and stock level plans</p>
<p>o Ensures inventory levels/merchandise procurement for planned promotions/new store openings, are planned and executed</p>
<p>o Ensure inventory accuracy by frequent spot check and cycle count</p>
<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;">• Management &amp; Development of team</span></p>
<p>o Recruits and develop the team to maximise talent and achieve merchandising business objectives.</p>
<p>o Constantly reviews workload within the team in order to effectively use the time of each team member.</p>

<p>o Holds regular meetings for the team, keeping them up to date with current departmental and business issues.</p>

<p><strong>PERFORMANCE MEASUREMENT</strong></p>
<p>• End the year with maximum agreed forward cover taking into account real sales figures.</p>
<p>• Maintain a stock cover of between 2 to 3 months on the top 200 lines.</p>
<p>• Maintain a headache list of product, said product will have very high months cover, be discontinued, be off quality, and will be slow moving. Recommend monthly action on this stock. Goal is that this list will only be 5% of total stock value, by year end.</p>
<p>• Highlight on the weekly basis stores in the business which is holding too much and too little stock.</p>
<p>• Manage all faulty claims with on a quarterly basis.</p>

<p><strong>POSITION OBJECTIVE:</strong></p>
<p>• Responsible for developing appropriate quality policies, procedures and processes for company based on accepted best practice and international standards for review and approval by the senior management.</p>
<p><strong>DUTIES &amp; RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></p>
<p>• Develops appropriate quality policies, procedures and processes for company based on accepted best practice and international standards for review and approval by the senior management.</p>
<p>• Determines the quality specifications for each project in accordance with client and consultant requirements and agreed quality standards.</p>
<p>• Maintain high quality standards of the company projects through planning the Quality Control (QC) policies and programs in coordination with the division’s heads and project managers, and ensures regular compliance with these policies and manuals.</p>
<p>• Monitors all projects in relation with quality standards as agreed with the client and the project team and recommends necessary corrective measures to be taken.</p>
<p>• Ensures client satisfaction by liaising closely with the client and the consultant, and proactively managing their complaints.</p>
<p>• Ensures that supplies/material meet the agreed technical specifications by implementing the relevant quality checks, in coordination with the project managers, project engineers and store keepers.</p>
<p>• Ensures that each project meets specifications by setting the standard quality standards and controls the testing procedures in accordance with written standard operating procedures.</p>
<p>• Ensures that all quality systems are regularly maintained with updated records.</p>
<p>• Ensures implementation of ISO 9001 systems and standards, in coordination with the ISO management representative.</p>
<p>• Ensures compliance with Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) and Site Acceptance Test (SAT) procedures and standards, and ensures that the related tests are properly done by the supplier.</p>
<p>• Prepares the project quality plan including the inspection test plan, in coordination with the department heads, project managers and production engineers.</p>
<p>• Coordinates with third party inspection bodies when required.</p>
<p>• Supervises and advises on testing methods, and ensure that approved testing methods are carried out.</p>
<p>• Carries out factory inspections and witness tests to ensure that agreed quality standards are met.</p>
<p>• Oversees material delivery at project site / store and advises concerned staff of proper handling and safe storing of materials.</p>
<p>• Oversees timely submission of material sample for approvals.</p>
<p>• Ensures materials delivered at site are in compliance with the approved specifications.</p>
<p>• Liaises with consultant&#8217;s representatives for material inspection upon delivery.</p>
<p>• Ensures that all equipment, tools, and materials comply with the project regulations and requirements and that the personnel have been adequately trained to use them safely.</p>
<p>• Supervises day to day testing activities.</p>
<p>• Performs day-to-day personnel and administrative tasks through managing subordinate performance and maintaining information files and processing paperwork.</p>
<p>• Evaluates the performance of his staff on a regular basis, prepares performance evaluation reports, assesses their training needs and sets annual training plans in coordination with the HR department.</p>

<p><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES :</strong></p>
<p><strong>Strategy, Planning and Policy</strong></p>
<p> Assist in developing the Group’s strategic sourcing strategy in consultation with the Vice President Supply Chain and with the Strategic Business Units to support the Group’s overall business strategy &amp; objectives and to provide the Group with competitive advantage in the areas of material supplies and services.</p>
<p> Develop sourcing management policies and procedures in consultation with the Vice President Supply Chain, linked into the financial payment procedures, to ensure adequate control of expenditures from purchase through to payment, with appropriate built in controls and authorisation levels throughout the Strategic Business Units.</p>
<p> Develop the departmental annual budget and plan in line with the Group’s strategic sourcing strategy and in consultation with the Vice President Supply Chain.</p>
<p><strong>Operations</strong></p>
<p> Conduct periodic vendor evaluation to select partners and suppliers and establish and maintain an approved and qualified list of suppliers.</p>
<p> Determine appropriate contractual instruments for various types of centralised procurement (service contracts, long term contracts, bulk order contracts, etc) based on the assessment of the sourcing need and negotiate, award and sign purchase agreements and contracts with external suppliers.</p>
<p> Develop the annual procurement plan based on the needs and the centralised needs of Strategic Business Units, in consultation with the Vice President Supply Chain and Manager Logistics and Distribution.</p>
<p> Procure services and goods and maintain records of all purchased items.</p>
<p> For centralised purchases and services, develop or direct the development of bids/tenders, Request for Quotations (RFQs) and Request for Proposals (RFPs), ensuring all applicable legal and contractual provisions are included to safeguard the Group’s interests; assist Strategic Business Units and departments to ensure purchase requirements are clear and understood.</p>
<p> For centralised purchases and services, provide pre-bid briefings and direct evaluations and award of bids, price/cost analyses and negotiate contract provisions or assist tender committee in evaluation, selection and negotiation of supplier.</p>
<p> Participate in the central tendering committee, as a permanent member, to evaluate bids, select vendors and conduct negotiations with tenders.</p>
<p> Ensure that the purchase orders and related documents for centralised purchases are completed accurately and in compliance with procedures and requirements.</p>
<p> Review and approve vendor and freight invoices for centralised payment and resolve disputed invoices with departments and vendors.</p>
<p> Identify, develop and manage relationships and strategic alliances with internal users, potential vendors and external suppliers to ensure quality and commitment and to realize potential synergies to ensure efficient and effective supply chain strategy and activities.</p>
<p> Provide technical support, information and assistance to departments/Strategic Business Units on purchasing issues and development of applicable standards and specifications.</p>
<p> Review requisitions requiring approval and resolve disputes in case the requisitioning department/ Strategic Business Units is over budget, or requires deviation from policy and procedures.</p>
<p> Develop, analyze and monitor the Strategic Business Units and supplier performance quality measures, monitor compliance with policies and procedures and contractual terms and conditions, and advises remedial actions as required.</p>
<p> Perform spend analysis at Group level (Holding and Strategic Business Units) and look for opportunities for aggregation of procurement requests, evaluate and propose new procurement programs and processes that will improve cost, quality and customer responsiveness.</p>
<p><strong>People Management</strong></p>
<p> Manage and monitor subordinates in all aspects including time management, quality of work, etc. so that sourcing functions are carried out effectively and efficiently.</p>
<p> Monitor the performance of staff on an on-going basis, conduct performance reviews of agreed goals and competencies and ensure that all staff are working towards an individual development plan.</p>
<p> Identify the training and developmental priorities of the department in consultation with the Vice President Supply Chain and ensure that staff are adequately skilled to meet future requirements.</p>
<p> Coach and mentor staff as appropriate to improve performance and ensure they keep abreast of technical developments, relevant regulations and industry best practice.</p>

<p><strong>POSITION OBJECTIVE:</strong></p>
<p>• To oversee the fabrication activities, equipment and required resources at the factory.</p>
<p>• Manages the overall activities of the Workshop/Factory to ensure the availability of the right equipment at the right condition and time to the project sites</p>
<p>• Ensures that all equipment is properly maintained and that all preventive maintenance plans are in place and abided to at all times</p>
<p>• Establishes internal hire rates for equipment and construction machinery.</p>
<p>• Ensures that all the required documentation, equipment logs/ time sheets are properly maintained</p>
<p><strong>DUTIES &amp; RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></p>
<p>• Ensures fabrication activities happen on time and within budget and manages staff and material costs</p>
<p>• Prepares budget for the Plant/ Workshop in coordination with Finance.</p>
<p>• Monitors the location of equipment (property and plant equipment) and prepares reports on equipment by location.</p>
<p>• Ensures equipment is properly maintained and that all preventive maintenance plans are in place and are abided to; maintains regular logs/ records &amp; time sheets for all equipment and equipment maintenance; provides timesheets to HR/ Finance for payroll purposes.</p>
<p>• Coordinates with the Project Managers and Project Engineers for the pre-planning of fabrication and production schedule.</p>
<p>• Establishes the internal hire rates for equipment in coordination with Cost Control/ Finance departments.</p>
<p>• Produces the requirements of different projects as per the work plan schedule and in coordination with the project engineers.</p>
<p>• Maintains a databank for the hiring rates of equipment in the market and looks for suppliers for equipment.</p>
<p>• Coordinates with the Project Manager and the Project Engineers for the requirements schedule of the fabricated equipment in order to plan the delivery to site</p>
<p>• Compiles all histograms into one schedule to update Project Manager on factory availability to meet all projects’ requirements.</p>
<p>• Coordinates with the Stores to check equipment availability as per the project histograms and prepares purchase requisitions to supply chain management as needed.</p>
<p>• Searches for and contacts new suppliers to ensure the sourcing of the right equipment for fabrication with the right specifications and ensures that the spare parts being sourced are original.</p>
<p>• Coordinates with Suppliers for the hiring of equipment and reviews equipment time sheets.</p>
<p>• Supervises all repair and maintenance of factory equipment and ensures that they abide to the required safety standards; establishes workshops and manages and ensures the proper functioning of the central and satellite site workshops; ensures the availability of the necessary tools/ spare parts at the right time to undertake all maintenance work.</p>
<p>• Prepares and provides reports on the availability of equipment to Supply Chain Management.</p>
<p>• Ensures that all equipment insurance and registrations are updated in coordination with Finance and the Project Managers.</p>
<p>• Coordinates with HR to recruit mechanics and electricians to meet the production requirements</p>
