Head of Private Banking & Wealth Management – Ref:MGMT/07/03/H

Job Summary

Maximize the long and short term profits of both Premium and Private Banking by managing and directing its business into areas of activity which are sound, profitable, prudently diversified and consistent with policies and strategies.
Manage the overall effectiveness of Premium and Private Banking, ensuring that all functions, operations and structure of management delegation operate efficiently.
Ensure that, within Premium and Private Banking, adequate internal controls, policies, systems and procedures are established and are effective in practice and that external regulations, compliance and statutory requirements are adhered to at all times.

Responsibilities

Set budgets, goals and action plans in accordance with long and short term strategies and manage results through formal and informal reviews and monitoring.
Proactively develop new customers and markets, through personal actions as a senior representative of the business and through managing business development initiatives and activities.
Build and maintain effective internal and external business relationships and promote the highest levels of integrity and professionalism with customers and the public.

Qualifications

IMC Qualified or equivalent.
Good academic background.
Thorough knowledge of contemporary Private and Retail Banking drivers and processes.
Direct experience of managing successful Private and Retail Banking teams.
Thorough knowledge of wealth management products, including their construction, dynamics and processing requirements.
Good knowledge and understanding of multinational (Arab/ GCC/ European) cultures.
Sales focused.
